One of Jake's A-Level documentary projects, roaming the streets of Stoke, aiming to investigate and illustrate the layers which make up Stoke today. This project brought together colour digital imagery with 120mm black and white film

This project set a precedent for his later project A Breath of Fresh Air in the City of Six Towns, which takes a more mature and optimistic approach to documenting the community, acknowledging and embracing that the rhetoric of photography simply doesn't allow for an 'objective' documentary. Some of the photographs from this project have been re-employed for the later sequence.
